The fourth largest city in Spain, the capital of the famous Andalusian region, Seville combines the old and the new, the Moorish and the Christian in a spectacular manner. But beyond the wonderful architecture, the Alcazares, the churches, convents and monasteries, the Cathedral with its "Giralda" tower (our Seville centre is 200 hundred metres from the Giralda). that still dominates the Sevillian skyline. Part of its treasure includes Casa de Pilatos, the Town Hall, Archive of the Indies (where the historical records of the American continent are kept), the Fine Arts Museum (the second largest picture gallery in Spain).

Seville is famous throughout Spain for its religious festivals, such as Easter Week and the Corpus Christi, when incredibly ornate baroque floats are borne through the streets of the city. A real treat for the senses, these festivals can be enjoyed in a truly authentic manner in some of the smaller more traditional neighbourhoods in Seville such as Triana. This is an area, until recently, the gypsy quarter of Seville, where some of the purer strains of flamenco can still be enjoyed.
