Italian Courses UK

Italian is one of the European Romance languages. It is becoming increasingly popular among British learners as the traditional focus on French and German in British schools erodes. Around 58 million people worldwide speak Italian as their first language, while many more use Italian everyday without realising it; whether referring to food or art terms.

In Italian, every letter corresponds to a phoneme: there are hardly any differences between spelling and pronunciation. This said, pronunciation can vary considerably from region to region so you should be sure to learn the right dialect for your own purposes.

Italian Course Cambridge

Cambridge is one of the world's most famous university cities. Apart from its fantastic academic reputation, Cambridge is well known for 'punting on the Cam' (which is the practice of sailing down the beautiful river that runs through the city). As befits a famously educated town, there are a number of highly skilled and qualified Italian teachers in Cambridge, many of whom studied/are studying at the university.

Italian Course Bristol

For around 500 years, Bristol was the second largest city in Great Britain, until the industrial northern cities of Liverpool and Manchester took precedence. A centre of British culture, there are numerous opportunities to learn Italian in Bristol, notably at the prestigious university and in the many private language schools.

Italian Course Liverpool

Liverpool is a vibrant and lively city with some of the best nightlife in Britain. The city is doing its best to shake a 'cheeky chappie' image and is a truly exciting place to be. In 2003, Liverpool was announced European Capital of Culture 2008 and has been working on preparations for the accolade ever since.

Italian Course Leeds

Leeds is now officially one of the 'coolest' cities in Britain, despite the demise of the internationally famous football club. The city is very multicultural, with a large immigrant community and high numbers of foreign students at its two universities. The city has a selection of excellent language schools offering Italian courses.
