LONDON: CERTIFICATE COURSE FEES 2010
Full-time Course fee: Jan – June & Sept – Nov courses: £795
  July & Aug courses: £845
Part-time Course fee: £845
PTLLS add-on (optional): course fee £85
Trinity College Moderation fee: £110
  • The PTLLS add-on fee is payable with the course fees and includes the £20 candidate examination fee for moderation of the PTLLS written assignment. Please note that this is an optional add-on course. For more information please consult the PTLLS information page.

Payment details

  • Once accepted onto a course, after an interview, a £100 deposit will reserve a place on the course of your choice.
  • The balance on the course fees are normally due 3 weeks before the start of the course.
  • Please note that in the highly unlikely event of Saint George International cancelling the course, we will refund the full fees to you within 2 weeks of cancellation.

Please note that for students who have started their course or who cancel within one week of the start date no refund will be made on tuition fees. If cancelling with 1-3 weeks notice 50% of the course fee will be refunded. Transfer to a later course can be discussed.

Examination Fee 2010

The candidate examination fee for assessment and moderation of their assignment is £120. For referred assignments, there is a resubmission of £45

Payment Details: Please note that for students who have started their course and have received their initial workbooks no refund can be made on tuition fees. Once course fees are paid, students have nine months to complete their course, based on the month of starting. e.g start month, June 2011: latest finish month, March 2011.

DIPLOMA COURSE DATES

PRACTICAL BLOCKS

There are a maximum of 4 participants on a practical block. The blocks include assessments of Parts 2, 3 & 4 of the examination which is respectively the Coursework Portfolio Moderation, The Oral Interview and the Classroom Teaching exam.

The two week blocks run throughout the year from March to December. The blocks include classroom teaching with regular observations and preparatory work related to the oral interview. They culminate in moderation and examination on the Thursday and Friday of the second week. You will be informed of available blocks, once enrolled onto the course. The limited number of spaces means the blocks need to be booked at least 6 weeks in advance.

 

DIPLOMA COURSE FEES 2010

The fees can be paid by British cheque, credit card, cash or bank transfer:

The fees for each of the four parts of the examination are:

Postal resubmission of part 2 is £15 per section ( £45.00 all sections)

Please note if you are taking the written exam overseas through a local British Council Centre there will be an additional charge for room hire and invigilation. The approximate cost of books needed is £180. Full details are provided after acceptance onto a course.

Payment Details: a £100 deposit must be enclosed with your application form. This is FULLY REFUNDABLE if you do not obtain a place on the course. Please note that for students who have started their course and have received their initial workbooks no refund can be made on tuition fees. Once course fees are paid, students have two years to complete their course, based on the month of starting. e.g start month, June 2010: latest finish month, June 2012. On a discretionary basis, a one year extension to the course can be agreed with SGI. Currently this extension fee is £120.

You can do the SGI PTLLS distance learning course in two ways

1) Immediately following successful completion of an SGI Cert TESOL course.

1) SGI Cert TESOL ( PTLLS add-on ) fee: £85 ( Payable as part of the Cert TESOL course)
Apply via the 'Certificate' application form and say 'yes' to the 'PTLLS add-on' in the application form

2) At any time as a stand alone top-up course following an earlier completion of a Trinity Cert TESOL (or CELTA) course.

2) PTLLS stand alone top-up: £140
Apply via the 'PTLLS' application form.

Trinity Moderation Fee 2010

The candidate examination fee for moderation of ther PTLLS written assignment is £20.

Payment Details: Please note that for students who have started their course and have received the workbook no refund can be made on tuition fees. Once course fees are paid, students have one month to complete their course, based on the date the workbook would have been sent to you ( by e-mail attachment)
