The Spring-Summer Sessions

April 24th , 7-8pm

The 3 Rs – Review, Re-formulate & Re-cycle!

Looking at the Whats, Hows, Whys and Whens in dealing with student output.

speaker: Josh Round (@JoshSRound)

May 15th , 7-8pm

Exploiting the Coursebook

We aim to shed a light on the coursebook rationale; mainly its methodology and skills hierarchy, and then suggest some principled ways to adapt it in order to increase its relevance to our learners. Some alternatives presented include: teaching a unit
back to front; applying a Task-Based framework; negotiated syllabus; among others.

speaker: Willy Cardoso (@willycard)

June 12th , 7-8pm

Teaching Unplugged – what it means in practice

This session will look at a teacher’s interpretation of Dogme in ELT and aim to explore how room can be found for an unplugged approach within a continuous enrolment context.

speaker: Jemma Gardner (@jemjemgardner)

Our workshops are developed to encourage you to become a more reflective teacher: better at understanding what your learners need, how to plan and teach a variety of lesson types, and more aware of how ICT resources can help you in your teaching.

To ensure a participative and personalised atmosphere each workshop will have a maximum of 15 participants.

On 24th April and I enjoyed it immensely.
I attended your workshop The 3 Rs – Review, Re-formulate & Re-cycle! At the end of the session you mentioned that a link to presentation you showed us, would be accessible on the website http://www.tesoltraining.co.uk/blog.
    Unfortunately, I cannot find it.
Could you, please, help me with it? I found the presentation incredibly useful and would like to analyse the information once again.
Thank you very much for your help in advance,
I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.
